Shining Light Baptist Church Leadership

Shining Light Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Scott Clark

Senior Pastor

Scott Clark established Shining Light Baptist Church together with several other families on November 16, 2025.

The attributes that best describe Scott as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership, and compassion. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Scott takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending hours each day focused on Bible study.

He graduated from Pensacola Christian College with two degrees in Biblical Studies. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia.

Scott been happily married for 32 years to his wife, Mary. They have three adult children.
